Jaemin Song is an associate professor in the Department of Urban Planning and Design at University of Seoul. She also served as Director General for International Urban Development Collaboration in Seoul Metropolitan Government. She specializes in climate change policy and planning, with interest in climate change resilient city, low carbon city and sustainable urban development in developing countries. She has built strong academic and professional capacity in the climate change field, working as a research assistant at MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change and a climate change specialist at the World Bank. She holds a BS and MS from Seoul National University in Korea, and a Ph.D from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US.
