Dr. Andréa Finger-Stich, Environmental sciences and forestry, lecturer at the University of applied sciences of Western Switzerland, Geneva, (hepia, nature management faculty) and part time consultant (Ecologie & Communauté SARL). Her research focuses on the socio-cultural aspects of nature conservation and restoration, nature in the city, environmental policy and ethics, and on the socio-ecological dimensions of mitigation and adaptation to climate change in the Alps. Her Bachelor and Master studies were accomplished at SUNY Environmental Sciences and Forestry in Syracuse, New York, and her doctorate on a research about Social Agency in Alpine communal forests, at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany).
